LEadership Sandy Springs & Movies by Moonlight Presents COCO!

We are very excited to share this incredible opportunity for our Sandy Springs families and friends! On Friday August 24th, Movies by Moonlight will be screening COCO as part of their kickoff event for the season. The event will take place at the new Lawn at City Springs!

Pre-movie festivities start at 6 p.m., with the screenings beginning at dusk!

Our Wonderful Los Ninos Primero dancers will be performing live at this screening! Our dancers, ages 4 to 8, will be giving a traditional dance performance alongside our instructors Martin Perez & Lilliann Tovar!

There will also be original artwork works and mariachi in attendance! We hope to see you all there supporting our community and children!

Rosa Moctezuma

Rosa Moctezuma, MArtha BArrios Mead Scholarship REcipient

Rosa Moctezuma has been selected as the 2018 Martha Barrios Mead Scholarship recipient!

Rosa was herself a student of the program from 2005 to 2006. Rosa came back as a volunteer once she was of age because she loved her experience as a student and hoped to come back to make an impact on the lives of our children just like we were able to do with her! She will be attending Georgia State University in the fall and plans to continue volunteering with Los Niños Primero!

"Since the age of two, I have yearned to start school. My parents moved countries so that their children could have the education they never received. We packed our bags and moved to Sandy Springs where my parents started looking for preschools. Luckily my mother was able to find Los Niños Primero and I am forever grateful we stumbled upon a wonderful program where I was able to flourish into the woman I am today!" - Rosa

A very big THANK YOU to all those who came out to support our annual Gala fundraising event. We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful community of individuals and businesses who help us make a difference in the lives of our students!
